Krystle is a self-taught artist who works with acrylic paint, charcoal and graphite. She aims to capture a glimpse of the stories within the people she paints, drawing attention to the deeper truths that are often overlooked when we rely on limited information or assign biased narratives. Her chosen subjects reflect her Haringey, north London, upbringing, Caribbean culture and the resilience of the women who raised her.
