Krystle is known for connecting money to the mind as the starting point for improving financial dexterity and improving financial decision-making.
She approaches financial education from a place of forgiveness, acceptance, and positivity, allowing people the freedom to start from scratch where necessary.
Krystle was diagnosed with dyslexia whilst in her thirties, after years of working extra hard to overcome the unknown challenges she was fighting. She had always overcompensated for her difficulties by simplifying technical jargon and methodologies to ensure she was able to succeed and now applies this skill to her work.
She is admired for her ability to articulate complex financial concepts in easy-to-understand language. Her talks and workshops on finance and behaviour are often described as fun, and very easy to understand. Krystle provides an open and engaging environment for people to learn, reflect and develop their thinking.
Past clients include Moonpig, Birkbeck University, StepChange, and General Assembly. Krystle has appeared on ITV Tonight, in the Telegraph newspaper, featured in Refinery29 and BBC Radio on several occasions. Krystle recently partnered with Boots No7 and AllBright to build a finance course for women coming out of the pandemic. She is also a finance writer and has written for the likes of Motley Fool.
Through her company Mind Over Money, a finance and behaviour change hub, Krystle provides courses, workshops, and training to help people develop their financial acumen, build financial confidence, and improve self-efficacy.
After reading Financial Mathematics at university, Krystle worked as a qualified Chartered Accountant for over 15 years with companies in the creative spaces of PR, advertising, marketing, and technology – being responsible for managing the finances of million-pound businesses. Krystle has been supporting people through education and mentoring and is widely known as the approachable finance expert, motivational speaker, and biggest cheerleader. She has studied Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Neurofinance and Behavioural and Economic Science.
